assembly (Chapter 2)
The assembly is the community of people who join together for the celebration of the Mass.

Church (Chapter 1)
The Church is all the people who are baptized in Jesus Christ and follow his teachings.

Concluding Rites (Chapter 6)
The Concluding Rites is the last part of the Mass in which we are blessed and sent out to share God's love with others.

consecration (Chapter 4)
The consecration is the part of the Eucharistic Prayer when, by the power of the Holy Spirit and through the words and actions of the priest, the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ.

creed (Chapter 3)
The creed is the prayer in which we announce what we believe as Catholics.

Eucharistic Prayer (Chapter 4)
The Eucharistic Prayer is the great prayer of praise and thanksgiving.

Gospel reading (Chapter 3)
The Gospel reading is the third reading at Sunday Mass and is from one of the four Gospels of the New Testament.

grace (Chapter 1)
Grace is God's life in us.

homily (Chapter 3)
The homily is the talk given by the priest or deacon that helps us to understand the readings and how we are to live.

Introductory Rites (Chapter 2)
The Introductory Rites are the prayers and actions at the beginning of Mass. They help us to remember that we are a worshiping community. They prepare us to listen to God's word and to celebrate the Eucharist.

Liturgy of the Eucharist (Chapter 4)
The Liturgy of the Eucharist is the part of the Mass in which the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

Liturgy of the Word (Chapter 3)
The Liturgy of the Word is the part of the Mass in which we listen to God's word being proclaimed.

Mass (Chapter 2)
The Mass is the celebration of the Eucharist.

prayer of the faithful (Chapter 3)
The prayer of the faithful is the prayer we pray after the creed. We pray for the needs of all God's people.

psalm (Chapter 3)
A psalm is a song of praise from the Bible.

A sacrifice is an offering of a gift to God.

To worship means to give God thanks and praise.
