In this Gather In My NameTM event, participants will:
learn about the Eucharist as a memorial, a meal, and a sacrifice.
review the changes in the Mass as presented in The Roman Missal, Third Edition.
The event is presented as a PowerpointTM and is separated into three sections: Before We Gather, We Gather, After We Gather. We Gather is the section of the PowerPointTM that should be used to present the event. The slide Notes will help guide you through the presentation of the event. Be sure to also download the Event Packet which contains all the necessary handouts for the event.
Welcome to Gather in My Name (GIMN), an approach to whole community catechesis that works!
Seasonal events bring together people of all ages to learn about and share their faith. As part of
the We Believe program, these events come complete with detailed leader's guides, preparation charts,
handouts, promotional ideas, organization materials, and much more. Weekly faith sharing
(Question of the Week) includes activities, prayers, and discussion ideas centered on the Sunday Gospel
readings. These are usable in the home and in catechetical sessions, with committees, volunteer groups,
and the parish at large. All materials are offered FREE and are available for downloading.
